Vintage Industrial – Console

This piece’s beautiful metal detailing and blackened patina fits right in with the homeowners’ meticulously restored 1880’s house on the northside of Chicago. Designed to completely conceal a flat-screen TV, double-hinged doors wrap easily around the sides of the cabinet when the TV is in use. Accommodating modern technology in vintage homes can be a challenge; in this home, there was just one section of wall between two doors that was suitable for a TV. This piece was carefully designed to fit perfectly in that space whether the doors are open or not. A single steel-faced ash wood drawer adds additional storage.
